Not much to tell today. Linda & I slept in until about 10:00 a.m.
Our freezer would get up to about 15 degrees overnight, and then we'd bring it back down to 5 - 7 degrees with the generator. We ran the generator one to two hours at a time two or three times a day.
Esther went beachcombing, but Linda never got that far today.
We both spent the day reading, and I dozed off a couple times. Life is tough.
Tonight, I grilled some salmon and Linda whipped up some Konjac (aka Shirataki) noodles (a calorie-free, gluten-free, no-carb Keto pasta substitute) with a nice sauce. These noodles are made from the Konjac root which is sometimes referred to as White Yam. At any rate, though the texture is slightly different than pasta, it worked well and we'll use these noodles going forward.
After salmon dinner, we sat around the campfire and just enjoyed the peacefulness until the yawns took over and we called it a night.
Tomorrow, we'll pick up our Sockeye from Custom Seafoods in Soldotna, and then we'll make our way to Anchorage for a few nights. Linda and Esther are flying to Nome the next day for an overnight beachcombing excursion, their version of a fishing charter.
Until next time.
