I am so enjoying your Alaska trip so far....look forward to many more adventures....I take it that was Dogpound South John.....Hi John!!!!! Stay safe and have fun!!

Just a thought. But if you catch a lot of fish, you may need to can some fish. We spent a lot of time on the Kenai and caught 175 sockeye one summer. We filled our class a diesel freezer, a 5 Cf freezer and canned 22 cases of salmon. I know you wont be doing that much salmon fishing but consider a pressure cooker. Be sure to hit the kenai river where you can fish from shore end of July first of August. Combat fishing but that's the time.

Dang, I should have told you about a little boondocking spot we use halfway up the Icefields Parkway. And another tip the Bow River you were walking along is a Blue Ribbon Trout stream, some say one of the best in the world as it passes through Calgary. Not being a fisherman I have no idea what that means but I know there are an endless line of trout fisherman working their way along the river in the city.

This trip is so exciting! (I've been following you for years and have met you a couple times at the Grand Rapids RV Show.) I'll be right there with you during your Alaska trip. I can't wait to see what happens next! Have fun and be safe.

I do hope that you are planning to stop along the Icefields Parkway to do a few hikes and at least visit Jasper NP on your way back. We spent a month visiting Calgary, Edmonton, Jasper and Banff. So many amazing hikes and lots of wildlife. Have a safe drive!

Pretty toes are always important 😉
