You and Linda sure lead an enchanted life....getting into one of our Provincial Parks in the summer is hard enough, but on our long weekend, to find not one but all of those spots vacant? Incredible.

There was a park rule years ago that any RV 29 feet or shorter would not have any problem getting into our Parks camping system...we have taken the 40 foot DP into some of these and have "just" fit in some spots. But it was indeed the right choice, again, that you downsized not only for Washington State, but for BC as well. Good call.

I always tell people from out of province that we have one thing, and one thing only that we can count on here in this province (besides death and taxes) and that is our scenery...second to none in the whole world. Only problem is, most of the good isolated stuff is inaccessible via motor vehicle (aka RV) and only accessible by float plane or some type of boat. You will not be disappointed no matter where you go in this province, Howard. She's all good!

As for those entitled people? Remember the one thing you can count on in this province? Well, you can also count on those entitled people. I think it is the weather and scenery that attracts them here! Wish there were less, like you found out. Seems like rules don't apply to these type of people. Shame on them! I encounter them in scores every day where we live and it sickens me to death. Wish I were out with you guys.

Anyways, glad it all worked out for you and Linda and those last sunset pics have got to be some of the best sunsets I have ever seen in your blogs. Absolutely beautiful!

Glad also that you got to taste some more of our Spring Salmon (aka Chinook and King). It's been too long since I have eaten the King of Salmons.

~take care and I hope that the rest of your summer adventures in Iceland are as great as the Island has been so far.

Guy, from Surrey. BC (sigh)

Great pics...especially those sunsets! Sounds like you may have found the it factor. 😊 Safe travels!

Since I’m from Southern Ontario, I don’t know my mountains all that well...Mt Logan?
