Why not just back up and dump tanks in the am

Hi H&L,
Two questions. First, where are you headed in such a hurry? And how long is your new rig? Bev and I have been talking about downsizing, now that we purchased a new home in San Miguel de Allende, MX.

We are removing the dinette in the motorhome and replacing it with theater seating (recliners) from Lambright Comfort Chairs in Shipshewana, IN. They wanted to install the new furniture themselves, and are providing it to us free as an incentive to make this cross-country trip and write about this new product. We already have plans in the northwest for the summer, so we're making this quick, unplanned trip to Indiana and back.

As for the length of the motorhome, it's 29.5 feet - Winnebago Aspect 27K. Wanted something smaller, but not enough storage space in smaller units for us as full-timers. And Linda was insistent on a Class C over a small Class A.

Well, we'll try and keep track of your travels in hopes of hooking up with you guys. We just had a traffic accident (no one seriously hurt) and so the rig is going to be in the shop for a month being repaired here in Bakersfield, CA. We hope to hit the road again by the first of July, headed for Rapid City, SD. From there we head to the headwaters of the Mississippi where we will join the Great River Road for our trip down the Mississippi River to New Orleans.

Hope to cross paths with you maybe in SD?
