If you have a smart TV, you could get all the channels you want with a Firestick and Lptv for $55 a year. Our son does that in his stick and bricks home so I wonder if you could do that in an RV with internet access?

Renee, Yes you can do that with internet access in an RV. However, you are limited by the quality of the signal as you travel to areas where it's not so good. And it also eats up a lot of data and can get quite expensive unless you have one of the old "grandfathered" unlimited data plans.

Several folks are streaming their entertainment, but there are certainly limitations. It works much better in an environment where there is a more stable internet signal and cheaper data.

LOL at all the states involved in your multiple vehicle transactions. Ours was complicated enough, domiciled in CA, buying the Jeep in Wyoming, and talking with DMV while in Connecticut! You're getting a lot done, but I know you'll be happier when you can finally get down the road :-)

Howard, your comment about your temporary 90 day tags reminded me of our issue. We bought our rig in Arizona which issued 90 day temp tags, and we were registering in Texas. So, I thought, I had 90 days to register my rig (why would I not think that?) When I got to Texas, they informed me I had to register the rig within 30 days of purchase and Arizona's 90 day tags were no good and I was now late. So, a whopping 10% penalty later, I now know the key is not the rule about where you buy the rig; rather, what does the state where you are registering require? That's what matters....

Why do you have to register your MH before you can register your car? Is that a state (FL) requirement or just your personal preference?

JC, It's a weird Florida thing in order to use the Mail Forwarding service address. We have to register the RV first which is necessary to get driver's licenses and we have to have driver's licenses before we can register any other vehicles there (at least according to the county clerk's office).
