Today we closed on the purchase of a 2015 Winnebago Aspect 27K.
We're in Tucson where we inspected it today, and we get delivery tomorrow.
And on the way to Tucson, we concluded an agreement on the sale of our fifth wheel and truck.
It's been a whirlwind the last couple of days, and we're pretty pumped up.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments and words of encouragement. Details on how all this came about coming soon. :)
Congratulations...we can feel your excitement!!! Change is good and sparks adventure:o)))

Congratulations! Bill and I have talked 'at length' about someday doing exactly what y'all have accomplished....so we shall be watching closely as this story unfolds...LOL! We just recently committed to an annual lot here in Florida...both my parents are here and none of us are getting any younger! We still plan to travel in the summer and fall and that is where a smaller rv would sure come in handy for all the reasons you guys talked about! Good luck and travel safe....let the adventure continue!! Debbie

Welcome to the motorhome world and I hope you enjoy your new purchase. You do move quickly when you make up your mind. Looking forward to your views on motorhome life and what you like and dislike about what you purchase. We have a 40' HR but have been thinking about moving to something smaller since we are not full timing. I have trouble with legroom in the Ford chassis units so looking at all options. Good luck.

Congratulations! It will be nice to travel together for a change after all this time. You sound like us and our house purchase...when it is right, you just know it! Glad you sold your outfit as quickly. We sure thought your RV was a great deal with all you've done to it recently. Someone is getting a great set up.

Wonderful!! It all comes together when it's meant to be. Great that you already have the Liberty to tow. Now you just have to agree on what music you listen to on the road :-))

Are you going to set up the jeep for towing so the two of you can ride together now?

Very nice looking rig. Now you will be able to better inform people on full timing in both a fifth wheel and a motorhome. I can't wait to read about travels in the coming years. Congratulations!

Hope the class C. works out for you.
Diving will be an experience.
I had a 25ft on a Ford chassis and had a poor experience. Every truck and wind gust was a white knuckle experience. Research showed that front end stabilizers would help but I decided to go back to a Chevy chassis. No problems now.
We travel both with and without a toad. Although it adds to the cost, we have found that when staying in one place for a while that renting a car works out well.
Without a toad I don't fear getting into a place that I can't get out of.
Remember that when towing four down, you can not back up.
I think that you will find out that you do not need much of what you have been carrying around with you for all these years. You will have to watch your weight.
Good Luck
Nick
