Congratulations to both of you on all you have accomplished in such a short period of time! So happy it all worked out so perfectly. And a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Howard! I'm wondering if you would mind sharing who your insurance policy is through and the type of coverage you have since it covered your frame repairs. Our current policy sites NOT cover broken frames which leaves us a little uneasy, as you must know. We are up for renewal soon and any information you can share is much needed and greatly appreciated!

Life is GOOD!!! We are so happy that everything has worked out and now you get some time to just relax a bit:o))

Enjoy reading about camper and house adventures. We were at river plantation end of march for my 60th birthday. Enjoyed it so much. We are making plans for a June 2018 trip back. Looking like 10 or so of our fellow campers coming too.
Enjoy your rebuilt camper.
Prayers for you on the loss of your parents.
Camp On!

We are with Progressive Insurance, but although they covered our broken frame, from what I've heard from industry folks we were lucky. It seems it's about a 50/50 proposition depending on the company, the adjuster, and more. I think our saving grace was our rig was in good shape and there was no sign of neglect. The frame break was clearly new and certainly appeared to be "sudden" and thus the break itself was attributed to a road hazard. It also helped that Progressive's inside person handling the claim was familiar with the bad road where we believe the break happened, and she was influential in in classifying our situation as a covered loss.

Congrats on getting your house back!! And wow, what a hectic, but productive two months!!!

What an incredibly busy period in your already busy lives! It was fun being a tiny part of it and so happy for you that it all came together so smoothly!!

Hopefully, clear sailing from here on.

It is fun to scratch the decorating itch once in a while 😉

All of your stars were definitely aligned. What a fluid chain of events that couldn't have been scripted any better. We were talking about you al yesterday and how much we learned and were inspired by your rally that we attended at Lake Leelanau. ( We even retuned there this summer for our vacation). Yesterday we discussed attending another rally in 2017 as a "booster shot" before we go full time in 2019. We will be looking for your dates. The boondocking rally would be great but we won't have our solar until 2019. See you on the road.

Seems you may have a guardian angel or two working in the background. You sure have been busy and I'm happy for you that it's all working out so well.

Lots of good news - congrats!!

We love our MCD shades except for the motorized one on the windshield. Manual is so much faster and seriously, who can't just pull down a shade? Standing there holding a button while a motor rolls the shade up and down is so silly!

Linda and Howard, how long will you be at River Plantation? We will be rolling through that way around August 20-21. Would love to say hi to you guys!! Mary and Mark Eggleston

Mark & Mary,
We will be here through our Fall Rally - so until the first of October. Just give us a little heads up on when you are coming through to make sure we aren't off hiking or something.

Howard and Linda, So glad you are back in Sevierville and your rig is all fixed. My, you have had quite a summer! So hav we. Since we got home after the spring rally, we have had 3 garage sales, sold some things online, made numerous trips to thrift stores, gave som stuff to thdo kids, and put a few things in storage. Put the house on the market and it is under contract as of last week. So, we left Shelby County, Ohio yesterday and have landed at a campground near Lebanon OH where we will stay for 3 months while Dave works out of Cincinnati. Then we'll really get "on the road!" So as of yesterday we ar officially full timers! Let the adventures begin. Jan & Dave Abbott

Jan & Dave,
Congratulations! You will be glad you parked in familiar territory for a few months to get started. Best of luck on the house closing. :)
