Glad to see the Journey was made safely. Can't wait for more updates on the duties ahead.

Hello! Look forward to you reports from your Maine location. We were there last September and spent a couple of hours on the rocks near the public parking area on the ocean bluff watching the waves crash onto the rocks and meeting interesting people. A ranger was kept busy asking people to move away from the edge! We never got that close. :)

Glad to read you've arrived safely. Looks like a great site. We hope the weather is very kind as I imagine the fall can be beautiful!!! Schoodic Point is such a spectacular location...Happy Bird Counting!!!!

Sounded good until the up very early part! We are night owls and early morning does t come easy for us!

Good morning Howard and Linda from the Olsen family at Schoodic Woods. On the day you arrived, Seth gave a lecture at the amphitheater. We mentioned we knew a couple who was going to eork here and he said you had arrived. Good luck.

FYI Seth is highly dedicated and motivated so anyone showing signs of trying to get a "free ride" with free camping and not wanting to do much is going to have some problems.

How did you find out about this opportunity? Was it listed on the volunteer.gov site or through the Schoodic Institute?

I am really excited for you guys. What an exciting opportunity. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Sir Bob, I don't know who you are or what you are trying to imply, but we are extremely offended by your comment. Our record as volunteers and workampers is impeccable.

Hey Betty,
Seth mentioned that he met a couple that knew us, but he didn't have a name. Glad you cleared that up. Also, look for Wayne & Linda in the Springdale fifth wheel.

Hi Missy,
We found the opportunity on Volunteer.gov.

You may want to pick up some big thermos jugs for hot drinks, and those great little disposable hand and foot warmers to have around (just in case) ;-)

Looks gorgeous!
