Guess Mt. Washington in NH is next and then on to Mt. Everest. You are doing a great job and having wonderful adventures.

Thanks for the great hike report on Marcy. I am hoping to do it sometime in the next week or two. :) There are so many awesome hikes here - you could stay for quite some time and never run out!

Looks like a beautiful hike. The view from the top made the climb well worth it. Just wish we had been along for the climb:) Having your chair along is such a good idea especially for these longer hikes. Finding a good place to rest can be a challenge at times. Congratulations:)

Way to go Howard...such a beautiful view we got from your video at the summit. Bill and I enjoy scrambling...something about the challenge!! I'd say you are certainly on track to attempt the AT!!

Brings back good memories of lots of hiking in that area with the kids while we lived there. I wish you luck on the AP next year. I've always wanted to hike the PCT (as a California girl) but can't get anyone to do it with me and I'm not interested in doing it alone or with a group. Oh well, I'm happy doing parts of it at a time.

Forgot to mention, Steve and I "bagged" our first 14er in Colorado a couple weeks ago! Mt. Beirstadt, whoo hoo!

So glad you enjoyed the Adirondacks - one of our favorite places to explore and vacation! My husband is actually training for the 90-miler kayak/canoe race there in the Fall! Hoping to follow your possible AT hike next year! I am sure you have found and are enjoying all the trail memoirs available on the Kindle!

Really loved the step by step description. It's fun living vicariously through you since unless there is a pretty spectactular waterfall at the tops of one of these mountains I probably won't be getting up there :) Good for you Howard..it really is fun to read about.
