Very interesting. We have been driving out west and are constantly monitoring our RPM's for too much time in the danger zone. It is extremely stressful for Lee and I won't even drive when the grades are too steep which really bothers me. I have never heard of the upgrade you have done, but if it makes driving on steep grades easier and safer, I would say it is worth it at any reasonable cost. Thank you for the detailed information.

For those without OEM exhaust brakes, and prior to 2011 none did except for true MDT / HDT trucks, this is a highly recommended upgrade. It depends on the exact model year as to whether the truck has one or not. Some do, some don’t even after 2011. All "1 tons" have them beginning with 2016 models. Again, highly recommended.

Another well done post. I appreciate you taking the time to post about your research. Thank you,

We had a PacBrake on the Dodge dually. It worked great for us. Excellent customer service as well.
