We've been thinking of you two with all this very cold weather so early in the season. Hopefully, this means a mild winter because Mother Nature got all the cold out of her system. Stay warm:)

Smart to make sure you have lots of propane! Looks like temps will get down to 19° where you guys are tonight. You'll need the furnace running to be sure your tanks and plumbing don't freeze!

Yea...those winds left you and made it our way at Fort Clinch in Fernandina Beach;o(( There were gust over 50 mph and possible tornado damage in the area. I'm with Linda, HATE THE WIND!!! But all is clear, cold and not quite so windy today:o))

It's not fun to be in an RV under those windy conditions that's for sure. So surprised at the cold weather and snow everywhere. Makes our weather in Ottawa seem quite banal! Stay warm and bundle up!

It's the sudden wind that bothers me, as in tornados. We survived our tornado watch and severe weather potential and I'm glad you did as well.

They keep extending our red flag warning for high wind and low humidity here in SoCal. I suppose I should be grateful I'm in the S&B while it's gusting, but I think I might rather have the views over the water....

A few weeks ago I was at the P.O. to send my app. to Dreher Island when Hamilton Branch SP called or otherwise I would have been your camphost there at Dreher. Darn. The wind wasn't too bad at Hamilton. Thanks for taking us along on your foodie tour. Hope to take that in sometime. The main thing I remember about everywhere I go is what I ate. I guess we all have our priorities.

Hey Linda and Howard, Ron and I are at Sesqui State Park in Columbia, SC. We've looked at staying at Dreher Island but is not as close to our daughter's house as Sesqui. But, with your pictures, we may stay there next time anyway. We will be here through Thanksgiving. I'm with Linda; I hate the wind living in an RV. We have been trying to stay ahead of the cold but didn't and having to have pipe repair done today. Keep safe and have a great Thanksgiving. Liz and Ron Warren
