After we replaced our living room carpet with pergo, we had the same concern about the impact of the slides on the floor. We use thin, rubber placemats where the slide supports potentially touch the new floor. It has been over a year of use, and so far, the floor is still perfect. We are careful to not let the mats roll out when extending the glide.

I really like the table. Great color! Sure makes it look very homey:)

You both are so lucky to have each other! I love the red tables and your new flooring!

Fun! Happy Anniversary!

My husband replaced our motor home flooring 2 years ago with laminate wood flooring throughout. We had the same concerns about our slide damaging the laminate floor. We went to Walmart and bought some cheap rugs that have the rubber backing so they stay in place. When we are ready to pull our slide in we push the button to get it started & then when there is enough clearance we slide the rugs under the 3 points where the slide touches the floor. Then we bring the slide in the rest of the way. We bring it in slowly & watch carefully to make sure the rugs don't get jammed up but they never have. The slide rides right up on the rugs beautifully. It has been 2 years & our floors are still beautiful. If you use this method you also have to be careful to pull the rugs back out before the slide is fully extended back out or they may get jammed in there. We have never had that happen because we are always very aware of the rugs but I can imagine it might be a problem for people who have a hard time paying attention to details. Just a suggestion. I hope you find a solution that works for you.
