Aren't those mountains spectacular? We've been there a couple times and will more than likely go back again one of these days.

Jim and Linda

Wow, stunning photos.

What a great place!! We toured that area on the back of a motorcycle but are certainly looking forward to doing it again in the RV and really experience the area.
Have fun!!

Gorgeous photos--what a difference from last year for sure!

Awesome. I didn't own a kayak when I was there. I did rent one at Jenny Lake and kayaked across and then did the hike. I need to go back.

Just gorgeous. I'm envious of your being able to do this and be wherever you want. We are fairly close to GTNP and YNP so we go there often. Enjoy.

We did String Lake with a short portage to Leigh Lake last October. Had Leigh to ourselves. Enjoy!

Got to hand it to you, it was worth coming this time of the year to see those mountains. I, like a few of your readers, were questioning your wisdom of travelling to the Rockies (what we call them up here) so early in the season. A few of our high altitude lakes are frozen over until the end of June!

But, when you see what forest fire smoke does over the summer months and lingers into the fall, no one can question your sense to arrive before most of the fires have started. It really looks like a different part of the country compared to last year.

Good on you, Howard. Made my day!

Enjoy the rest of Rockies,

Guy (Surrey, BC)

No wonder you wanted to return after your last visit. The Tetons were on vacation. You had the perfect sky to make for spectacular photos.

fabulous pics. . .definitely God's country!

Beautiful pictures . . . and a stunning difference from last year!

Awesome pictures. We're in discussions to work in the area next summer. Hope it works out :-)

Sometimes I just get so jealous of you guys. This is one of those times! Great pics!!!
