Howard, if you ever need another job, sport's announcer would fit you well. I got more out of your post than all the announcements during the game.

We've camped with high winds but bring all our slides in because we too have slide awnings. Did you end up bringing all yours in when he winds picked up the next day?

How 'bout them Cards!!! After my Bulldogs got beaten I just had to root for Louisville. I am glad I did!!!

As we watched the game, We thought about what a grand time you must be having. Sorry the Lady Cards couldn't pull it off. I am tired of Connecticut always winning it.

I remember one time, Kevin did not heed the weather warning and left our awning up. Of course, he ended up have to go out and raise in rain and wind about 2:00 am. He now listens to all weather reports!

Your photos are beautiful!

Can you warn the women reading your blog, put at the top of the post.. All About Basketball..so I can completely skip your post! Not everyone is a basketball fan. Geesh

The elements don't let you forget for long that the canyon was created by erosion of wind and rain. It's nice to be protected inside and doing something you enjoy when that nasty weather happens.

First of all, the post wasn't ALL about basketball.
Second, the "Cardinal Red" in the title was a hint.
Third, lots of women like basketball.
Fourth, how inconsiderate of us to write about things in our life on our blog that you have no interest in. Sheesh.

Living across the Ohio in Ohio for 30 years, I always had a warm spot for Kentucky with its history and people. Very happy to see Louisville get their chance to win the national tournament.

"Fourth, how inconsiderate of us to write about things in our life on our blog that you have no interest in. Sheesh." HAHAHAHHAHAHA. LOVE IT!

You know Howard, rather than getting upset about Tina, just edit her out. You've done that a couple of times with my posts (can't understand why as I never say anything negative about you or Linda) and I didn't say a thing.

This is your blog, after all, and us readers who follow and read it every day do so because we respect and admire your opinions, enjoy your beautiful pictures and commentary and realize this is just one person's view...so be it!

If someone can't acknowledge that, then there are thousands of other blogs they can tune into. I, myself, am not a basketball fan in any way, shape or form, but if it gives you enjoyment, then great! If you're happy then your blogs will be great. If not, then we all suffer.

Hope you feel better soon! Take care and have a safe trip to Montana.

(still rainy Surrey, BC, Canada)

Howard-maybe you need to rest and let your body recuperate from the stress of your big hike- sounds as if you work hard doing all those things you two do so we can enjoy your adventures vicariously.
