Okay, so it was another blue sky day with temps in the 80s. Yawn. :)
I think Linda and Esther made a grocery run and sat outside chatting during the day, while Steve and I went to play golf. Again, we walked the executive course here at the RV park. But today we played the nine holes twice.
I played okay the first time through at six over, but shot even par the second time. Might as well call it quits for another few months. :)
After we got home and got showers, the four of us headed to PGA West where Steve & Esther have some friends that invited us to join them for dinner.
We arrived around 4:00 at the home of Eva & Doug. They have a beautiful place on the 12th fairway of one of the six golf courses at PGA West. Soon we were having drinks and appetizers and getting to know our hosts out on the patio with the pool, hot tub, and firepit.

Then we learned that we were going to be joined by three other couples including a guy Steve roomed with in college. The twelve of us squeezed in and chatted while continuing the drinks and appetizers.
Eventually, we sat down to a wonderful dinner and continued our conversations. Then the music cranked up and the dancing began. Linda never left the dance floor as the gals danced for hours. Us guys joined in from time to time, but we alternated between dancing and conversing outside.
What a wonderful group. A great time was had by all. We had the option of spending the night, but I was the designated driver and we decided to make the 45-minute drive home before it got too late.
Not only does it get dark early, but the sun sets behind the San Jacinto Mountains, so it's almost dark before 5:00. It makes the nights go on forever, so 10:00 seems really late. :)
And thus ended another day in the California desert. Thanks Eva & Doug for a terrific evening. :)
