Beautiful and Wonderful Beach Evening!!!

Envious of the campfire. We tried last night, no luck. At a state park in PA that has had lots of rain. Got the wood from the camp store thinking it would be dry enough. I guess not. Had the granddaughters here for the weekend and they were disappointed. Oh well, better luck next time.

Sounds like you had a perfectly wonderful evening on the beach.

Sounds like a great day. Hope you return to Grand Rapids!

What an incredible evening! Thanks for sharing the fire & the photos.

Enjoyed your post - we love Oregon (even though we live in AZ); the pork chop recipe is a must try; the fire on beach is the best; sharing with us - priceless. Thanks for helping us relax during our day at work.

Beautiful pics guys! Isn't Port Orford great? We were considering driving back there today but did Stout Grove & the Smith River on 199 instead. We're still in Brookings until Wednesday morning. It's been beautiful every morning but rains late in the day. If you make it down this far don't forget Harris Beach! Safe Travels :)

Hi Linda and Howrd,
Sorry we missed you at the Port Orford area. My wife and I have been volunteering at the Coastguard Lifeboat Museum for the month of October, just a few miles from the city center. It is a gem of a museum with a great history of Coastguard Rescue Operations from the 1930-1970's. We are camped next to a Lake Garrison (full of trout) and the ocean surf. Best volunteer job we've had so far.

We met you briefly three years ago at Benson, Arizona at the SKP Park. I love your blog and congratulate you both for sharing such great information with us RVers. Bravo!

The rain keeps the green things growing -don't know what it does for humans except to keep the skin hydrated
