First of all, Hugs to both of you. So glad that you have some time to make your decision about what to do next. Just know that we are all praying for you as you go through this process. And remember, these things happen whether we are fulltimer RV'ers or sticks and bricks people. We've all had things happen which require us to weigh all the options and make the best decision for our situation. It's what we know as "Life".

We learned this as things happened with our kids and their growing up, and with Dan's business. Over the years we learned to not make quick decisions, but to think things through based on our whole situation at the time. This was especially true when our motorhome burned last fall.

Please know that we are thinking of you every day and praying for you as you work through this.

Again, a BIG hug from the Brogdon's.

glad to see you got 'moved' along...and that now you have the time to really thing this all thru and weigh your options...quick decisions are not always the best ones. good luck!!!!!

I would like to make a couple of comments from my viewpoint of a longtime RVer.

Howard and Linda, you were right to be fussy about the towing company hooking up to your fiver with an unusually mounted fifth wheel receiver shoe. The first way that you were right is that if the front end of the fiver is towed too low the landing gears might get scraped, damaged, bent or broken off. Then you have very bad problem unhooking it and an even worse problem taking it for repairs. And living in it at the repair shop is no fun. And, Howard, there is a second problem that you avoided. The round pin that sticks down from the front of the frame is well and strongly made but it too can be damaged. Several years ago I heard a story about a towing company in Texas breaking off a part of the bottom part of the pin when they moved a fiver from the highway to a park. The owner got his truck fixed but then could not hook up to his fiver and had to search for a welder to come out and repair his pin. So, Howard, like all of us, you were and had to be smart and involved. You were not a pain. Good for you.

Just letting you know that Jean and I are praying for you, as well, for the best solution for you guys. God never closes a door without opening up a window to a better opportunity. So It will all come about in time. I did inquire online for a quote from the WHOLESALE Warranty people for our truck. I will be leaving in Sept for RV TECH SCHOOL in Largo,Fla for 10 weeks, so I'll be hitting the road soon myself. Still trying to figure out the budget for towing the rig versus the extended stay motel route.
We will keep reading and offer our prayers and support. Jean & Greg Munoz aka Batman & Batwoman.
