Howard, whether you are celebrating or not, I want to personally wish you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I also want to thank you and Linda for sharing your travels with us. My heart has been saddened over the recent events you have encountered, but I have no doubt you will pick yourself up and carry on. Additionally, I want to thank you both for the inspiration and encouragement you have given not only me, but hundreds of others out there. I have 54 weeks and 1 day until I can retire. In God's time, we will be giving up everything to hit the road full time. We can't wait to discover God's country and maybe, just maybe, have the opportunity to meet you both one day! I can't tell you how much we appreciate your journal as I am already traveling, vicariously, through you and Linda... to the point where I'm disappointed when you have NOT posted! I certainly understand you can't post every day, but please know how very much I appreciate your time and enjoy your/our travels! :)

Wishing you good health, happy trails, and everything great this life has to offer.

Blessings to you both!!!

Happy bday, I know what you mean about WY. It's flat and not too much rocking.

Happy Birthday...just because;o)) We aren't big celebrators either. But with what you two have experienced lately, you need to at least eat cake and ice cream!!!

Hope the truck returns and your get back to the life you love and we love to follow:o))

Happy Birthday Howard!

I hope you are having a peaceful and pleasant day.

Renea and I looking forward to seeing you both when you get to Yellowstone.

Send me an email and let me know when you think you might arrive.

Happy Birthday Howard! Terri and I hope that you are having a great day. Soon you and Linda will be back on the road and having fun again. Enjoy your day!

Happy Birthday Howard!
Thanks for sharing your travels and inspiring so many of us to follow our dreams too.

Happy Birthday! We hope you get the truck back soon. Miss you guys and hope to see you down the road.

Happy Birthday!

Just think, if you get your truck back Tuesday and pull out Wednesday Aug 3rd you will be setting out with a new engine on the anniversary of your starting this adventure. I always remember when you set out as I was born Aug 3rd.

Hope you get the truck soon and can get back to having fun. We thought of you guys today when we saw a sign on a diesel shop here in Denver: "Come in and let us make your Ford 6.0 bulletproof".

X2 on Jo's post. You and Linda are an inspiration to us all!

Happy Birthday, Howard. I just celebrated my birthday too. Each year teaches us something new and you have let us see many of those new things though your eyes. My Dad didn't believe in birthdays either. He said you have a bithday each and everyday.
I believe that is how you live. You have a birthday each and everyday.
Looking forward to you guys being back on the road.

Happy Birthday Howard!! I hope you get a perfectly running truck for your birthday!! A rather expensive present, but you're worth it! :-)

Well Howard, I don't do birthdays much either but I just had mine as well. I won't tell you which one but I've got 21 years on you and I'm (we) are still doing it. You have along ride ahead of you. This truck thing is a bump in the road. This too shall pass. I also have the 6.0 but mine is an '06. So far with 118000 miles it is basically trouble free. I did overheat my brakes on that same stretch where you had trouble but managed to get over in a turnout before fire erupted. Hang in there my friend. Hug Linda for us.

Happy Birthday Howard! Congrats on figuring out all the truck issues. Can't wait for you two to be back on the road!

Hmmmm getting closer to being 'elderly' eh? Probably be ready for a coach soon. You'll never live that one down! Happy B'day.
