I went to wholesalewarrenties.com and checked it out. I just filled out the quote form for our MH and got a 404 error when I tried to submit... FYI

Linda, love, love, love, the look of the bracelets!! :).

Hi Ralph,
First, I want to make sure you went to WholesaleWarranties.net not .com. I would recommend giving them a call on the 800 number or using the Live Chat feature to let them no the form submission didn't work and to get your quote. I'll send a follow up email to them as well.

What brand tire monitor system are you fixing to test? I don't recognize it & we are thinking about getting one for our rig. Thanks, Meredith

Hi Meredith,
I'll be testing the TST (Truck System Technologies) system. We've run Pressure Pro for six and a half years, but I'm looking forward to testing a different TPMS.

I was also wanting to try a TST, but the #507 instead of the #510. Do you have a reason for not choosing the #507 with replaceable batteries? I am new to this Rv-ing & would like to get the best system for my money. Any siggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Replaceable batteries in sensors is a selling point for some. TST tries to cover both ends by having the five-year battery sensors (510 system) and the replaceable battery sensors (507 system). The replaceable batteries only last about a year, but the beauty is they are replaceable and they are easy-to-find watch-type batteries.

I chose the 510 because it is more like our current Pressure Pro system for comparison purposes, and because I'm not a "tinkerer". I just really don't want to have to change batteries every year. However, I am going to get a sample of the 507 just to see how easy or difficult it is to change the batteries.

I'm not sure when I'll get to it, but I'm going to do an article on TPMS fairly soon. We've always recommended having a TPMS, but we'll try to give some more specifics and pros and cons. There isn't much difference in technology among the screw-on type sensors, but there are variations in features, programming, installation, and price.
