Just wanted to say I couldn't agree with you more regarding the expected/proper way to grieve. There is 'no normal' when it comes to grieving, it is a purely personal reaction. I sometimes catch myself laughing or enjoying a 'moment' and wondering if people around me think I shouldn't be able to laugh, having recently lost our Son, but I know, just like you and Linda do, that our loved ones would want us to live life and not spend each and every minute in sadness and tears.
Wonderful tribute to your friend John, he was certainly lucky to have you both in his life and I am sure he was grateful to have you and Linda there at his passing.

Thank you for sharing your life with us. Somedays are wonderful and others are much more difficult. But your sharing has been a blessing to us and so many others. You have taught us to 'Live In The Moment' and yes, laugh as much as possible!!!

Thank you also for creating RV-Dreams. You have helped us realize that a simpler life gives us the opportunity to laugh, think and cry.

Thank You!!

When we grieve, we are grieving our loss. No where is it written, that I've been able to find, that you are not allowed to laugh and grieve at the same time. I believe in a good wake to celebrate the life that was lived.
