Oh, the irony of it all!

Just two words:

Be safe!

Howard,

Surprised that you found U-Haul not up to par...simply Google the name and you will find plenty of horror stories of the company.

That is definitely not one of the many companies I would ever use..even though you probably did not have much choice and someone else may have made the decision for you (mother-in-law?) You're lucky tire pressure was the only thing wrong with the truck, even though there may be other problems as you come back down to Florida...hope not, but the name of U-Haul does not bring much promise of fortune!

Hi Howard

I had a tire issue today. Could you tell me on your tpms how much do your rv tires go up in pressure while driving. Mine went from 80psi up to 90 psi while driving today with a new tpms system. Not sure if that is normal but seems high to me. Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

The tires are designed to heat up while driving which increases the pressure. A 10 to 15 psi increase is normal. It could even be up around 20 psi in some cases.

If any single tire is increasing in pressure significantly more than the others, then there is likely a problem.

Every single time I have used U-haul it has been a less than favorable experience.

Good lucky you two, drive safely .....see you down the road.
