In your blog you mention that you replace your tires with Continental tires.
What model Continental tires did you purchase.
Also where can I find a Tire inflation chart?

Well, it is good to have you back on the road!! We are really happy that you have found a good fit with the RV Weighing job, but we missed your wonderful photos and travel stories. Welcome Back ;o))

This looks like a beautiful state park. Have to put this one on our TODOS list:o))

Howard and Linda,

I second Nancy and Bill's statement...welcome back to the road and to nature and, hopefully, more frequent postings ;-)

Seriously, you guys are way too busy now weighing rigs and need to take a break, although the money must be hard to pass up I bet? Especially since you just forked over major coin for 6 new tires.

Anyways, have a Happy 4th (ours is tomorrow, Canada Day, July 1st) and I can't wait till you guys come over to the west coast (hopefully Northwest Coast!)

I have to ditto Nancy and Bill's sentiments. While I know you have to do what you have to do to maintain this lifestyle, I have to say I was tired of hearing about weighing and tires. I did 3 Life on Wheel's seminars and had my weights done at one of them one time. I still have the printout on that. I probably should have it done again. Like if I run into you in Maine this summer.

So close, yet so far away. We too are in Ohio, but we're down in Wilmington, on our way to Illinois to visit with my sister for the 4th before heading back to Rapid City SD for chemo and radiation treatment of that tumor on my tonsil. So sorry we missed the rally this year in Hershey. So sorry we missed you guys here in Ohio. Come on out to Rapid City and check out the Black Hills. It's awesome there!

We got the Continental HSR tires for our truck. They come in several tread patterns, so it's hard to identify them exactly for you.

As for tire inflation charts or tables, each manufacturer typically has one on their website for their Light Truck tires, Specialty Trailer Tires, and Truck/Bus tires (where the larger motorhome tires usually fit in). Passenger tires don't typically have load inflation tables.

Just do a web search for your tire manufacturer and "load inflation tables" or "tire inflation tables". The name brands will have them, but the off brands may not. In the case of LT (Light Truck) tires, the tables should be the same across manufacturers.

I really loved your post, especially the photos! Great job! The little pathway/street that was lined with trees and sort of made a tunnel was my favorite.

I enjoyed reading about your travels. This was a nice post with great pictures, especially of the doe.

Aren't vehicles such a pain? Dealing with tires has always been one of my least favorite car repairs. In the event of a flat, it is always seem the weather is poor and the lug nuts are stuck on!
