I'm glad to hear you are both safe and that the geese are too! I was worried about you last night and feeling sorry for Linda. I am just like her when a storm is approaching. There's a lot of pacing, watching the weather and worrying. Hopefully the bad storms are gone. My biggest concern for fulltiming is the weather.

Soooo glad you are both safe! Thanks for the campground info. I did read the whole thing and told Dave he needs to read it...we are right now planning where we are going next...tomorrow...so this was great timing!

Everything's OK here. It was 3:00AM by the time the weather got to Columbus, and by then it had died down a great deal thank goodness, but it seems it has fired up again with daylight south and east of here.

There are a couple Canada geese with four babies in the park near my home. Didn't see them this morning, but didn't look either. I worry about them because there are some large snapping turtles in the pond, but even without that the pond is probably polluted because of pesticide and fertilizer runoff from a relatively new subdivision upstream.

Glad your're safe...

Glad to know you both are safe. We were watching the Nashville radar and it looked like the worst of it went just south of you. Hope you finally get some good weather!

Glad to hear you two are safe and sound!!

Been a very rough patch of weather and you just can't be too careful!!

I told Sherri about your "scariest period on the road so far" comment and she said I hope we got the scariest time over early in our full-timing life. It was crazy for us Monday & Tuesday, but beautiful in Arkansas today.
Glad you are okay.

I may have spoken too soon. Apparently just north of here a tornado tore through FDR State Park and then hit Warm Springs GA on the east side of the park. The article in the paper this morning said that a 'group' campground in FDR had been hit hard and will probably be out of comission for several months, but it didn't mention anything about the RV campground.

From our experience, it doesn't take to much to tweak the reflector part of the satellite dish to where it won't work properly.
