I am so jealous. Both times I have spent time in north GA, I have intended to make a trip to Callaway Gardens and just haven't made it yet. I think I need to do a workamping stint in the area. Thanks for the mini tour. Aren't we all blessed living this lifestyle.

What a great post!! We have been there. Sold everything, full-timed, bought everything again and now want to head back out on the road. We just consider it all part of life's journey. We couldn't agree more that the people we have met while rving are just folks we like to be around. They inspire us!!

That's why the RV life style is so cool. There is no "one way" or "right way" to do it. What is right one time may be different the next. Do what works for you and meet some great people and have a great time no matter what style you choose.

Bill & Linda

Thank you Linda, I needed that! However, the last bit of snow in my yard melted today, so I know spring will come up north too.

Beautiful tour, beautiful video and beautiful pictures.

Perfect timing mentioning Mike and Gerri's transition.Linda and I are currently in Arizona looking at a possible" home base" after one year full time. Will have to read their blog.Thank You.Racerguy

In the winter, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Callawy Gardens also has a wonderful drive through holiday light show after dark. You can ride a tram if you want to , or even walk it, but I've gone through it twice with my wife and mother-in-law, and it just seemed to me it ws too cold for either of those options. I need the car heat!

They also have some wonderful golf courses. Three of them I believe. Mountain View is the most expensive, and was the home of the Southern Open. I used to read in the paper how much the pros raved about it, and how much it was a good prep for the Masters because of the similarities between Mountain View and Augusta National.

Whatever... Callaway Gardens is a beautiful place, so don't miss it if you're in this part of Gerogia. I've bought fresh vegetables from the 'Victory Garden' and on and on. It's serene....
