One word of caution about driving an RV in the Northeast. LOW BRIDGES are everywhere it seems like and they never seem to be marked until it is too late to turn off so you end up turning around in the middle of the road. Just ask my brother John :) he loves driving his motorhome in the Northeast, he has gotten really good at disconnecting his tow car in traffic.

Have fun.

We'll be in the area of the Northeast too. I sure hope we meet up somewhere along the line. Thanks for the pictures in Defeated.

We've been studying the NE for about 3 months. Just can't get into the "not knowing" ahead of time.

Howard & Linda;
You are correct that you will never be able to see it all in one trip. My regrets though are; living in Connecticut for 5 years and never making it to the Maritimes, and living in Buffalo, NY for 2 Yrs and not making it to Toronto. It took over 20 years to get there. If you can make it, you will love it. If not, you still have 20 years. You will love the trip. Bob

Hi guys, I am way behind in reading blogs, so just saw that you are heading East... if you find yourself heading into eastern VA,, more specifically the Northern Neck, you are welcome to go stay at our little river place. It is pure solace, and a step back in time. There are two sites there, one 50 amp and one 30 amp. The fishing and crabbing are wonderful and free...125 foot dock on our property. The BEST kayaking spot ever!! Wish we were going to be there, but would love for you to enjoy it! Hugs to both of you!
