I still have trouble backing our 5th wheel with a long box pickup on occasion. Hands on course of how to back trailers would be a great subject at one of your Rallie's.

Thanks Howard for sharing about the "stress" associated with towing, etc.
We are on a month-long trip here in FL and on the trip here had a mis-hap with a sharp turn and crash into back window....then when parking the RV....took Wayne hooking and unhooking to get it level...he was ready to sell it! Thank goodness my SIL was next to us and helped him....we've been here a little over a week and he is just now "relaxing"! Truck in shop for window replacement and minor body work to the roof over window....but bright side: camper was not damaged! It's good to know that things like this happens to all....

As we are at the VERY beginning of our travels...we leave this friday....it is nice to once again read the underused caution that this is NOT for everybody and to see that you still do have a little stress. It seems to be the same things we are already stressing about, but the big difference is that we do not stress about it anywhere near all the things we used to stress about!
I also like reading about your travels in Florida...I hope to be there one winter...I love this second visit to the Tiki Bar...
Enjoy and hope to see you on the road.

Nice tanned knees and big toe. Do they belong to anyone we know?

Thanks for including the stress part bc it gives a more realistic view of the lifestyle. And it is nice to know that even with experience towing can still create a challenge. It can't all be great food served by great people and naps in a hammock!! Glad you are enjoying yourself.

You are right about the stress thing. It will be a year for us April 1st and we have our stressful times but they seem brief and not the level they were before. :)

Ah yes Carri-lite and stress. It did ring a bell for us. :-) It seems we had less stress in the beginning than now after our now 2 blow-outs in Aug and March. I keep waiting to hear that POP. Couldn't get the Pressure Pro to work after we got new tires. grrrr Then our insurance guy told us about someone who bought new tires and got 55 miles before he had a blow-out. BTW - we passed you in Adel as we are overnighting in Perry on our way to Cleveland, GA - genealogy and visiting my son/family. Heading to our spot in Jojoba by June 1.
