Howard, this park looks wonderful, and seems like you guys are all alone this go round!

You gotta LOVE THE LIZARD ;o)

Great photos!!

Hello there...love your site...glad to see you are enjoying George L. Smith...we went last year and loved it...also went on a day trip to Magnolia Springs SP about 20 miles away...there were turtles everywhere and several large alligators..nice place to visit....glad the storms didn't affect you, they were pretty bad up here in North GA...happy and safe travels to you both.

Would you consider a post about your favorite weather websites? (p.s. the dam and mill are really interesting, is the museum inside?)

Sure glad the worst of the storm missed you guys. We have had chilly temps here (Bullhead City, AZ) all week..so I think you are seeing our cold front...sorry bout that...HE, HE! Good news is warm front is coming our way tomorrow..so maybe you will be seeing the temps climb before long....have fun you two! Oh, I love the close up of the lizard!

and looks like you both had another excellent day in your perfect little corner of the world...love the pictures..glad the storm missed you!!Safe travels...

Wow!!! Linda, don't blame you for liking that campground. It looks really nice. Enjoy.

Diana,
I'm not sure about a whole post on weather websites, but I can give you a few we use most frequently. :)

Weather Underground - www.wunderground.com
Weather.com - www.weather.com
NOAA - www.weather.gov
Weatherbase (for avg temps, highs, lows, rainy days, days over 90, days below freezing, etc.) - www.weatherbase.com

Hope that helps.

The covered bridge/mill is sort of the "museum". Some stuff is accessible all the time and some is closed off for tours only.

Have been following you guys for last year or so. Enjoyed you research into RV elect. systems. I have a class A, but just added an EMS--Progressive-LCHW50--after confering with your article on your upgrades. Solar panels may not be for us, but enjoyed your research. I have several friends with 5th wheels and I have referred them to your site and article on upgrading your system.

We spend about 7 months a year on the road in our ALFA---heading for AZ TX and NM this winter. Hope to run into you guys along the way.-------Keep posting!!!!!!
