My household is on Weight Watchers also...I have been a member since the early 90's and made lifetime back then. It's my personal belief, why mess with what works?? Also, to me, it's a sign that they need to boost sales...everyone now has to buy a new Food companion, and a new points calculator! Once we sat down and figured things out, I'm pretty sure we can keep doing the same eating pattern as we have been and still stay on points!
About the site...beautiful! Just a quick question...being in Georgia, right next to a swamp, is there any worry about snakes? I'm really paranoid about snakes! But it looks great.

Karen

I love your new site! A campfire by the 'swamp' sounds sooo nice! Enjoy!

Jim and I were both laughing about your campground. I'd freak out. It's wonderful to have so many places to camp that suit each person. I'd have nightmares every night being in there. It's sure neat in "pictures" I do agree with that. Have fun.

Hey Karen,
We have lots of readers that are "really paranoid" about snakes .... and spiders. :)

Snakes aren't really a concern for us at all. We keep our eyes peeled for the venomous ones when we're in their habitat, just so we don't accidentally step on one, but they don't bother us. If you camp in the places we do and do any hiking at all, you will encounter a few.

We don't expect to see any here this time of year. A bit too cool for them to be out and about.

But I'm sure they are present here in the summer months and that there is a big variety. In addition to various water snakes, they do have a very large black snake here, the Indigo, that is endangered or threatened. But it's non-venomous and eats other snakes, so you might like that one. :)
