Howard,
Thanks for the Weight Watcher recipe hints and critiques. Will try the cheesy bread with black bean soup for lunch.

Your M&M story brought back memories of my mom. She LOVED M&M's, and ate 10 of them after lunch for many years. Even the caregivers in the nursing home made sure she got her M&M's when she was no longer able to count them out herself. Everyone needs their chocolate fix.

Safe travels,
Gail

Those M & M's just keep on giving! Love it! The ones you left in the refrigerator after the party "mysteriously" disappeared. Fortunately, it wasn't me.......:)

Augusta GA.... sad memories for me there. That's where my wife was hospitalized for 13 months before she finally passed away.

Updating your GPS maps was probably a good idea. I haven't been to Augusta now in a little over a year, and there was a lot of construction on I-20... lots of changes to ramps and access.

I gave my mother-in-law a GPS so she could come up from Jacksonville to see her daughter without getting lost, and those maps were not current with the changes to I-20. She almost got lost again even with the GPS when trying to head for home.

Fortunately, I was following her so I was able to get her on the right path with a lot of waving and hand signals.

Hi Howard....the pictures from your last evening are beautiful...makes me want to viit that place! When you can, will you post what's involved in updating your Garmin. I have one...keeps telling me I need to update...I've gone on line....I'm confused.
Thanks,
Melanie White

Be curious to know how the map updates work for you. We did it after 2 years and found it no better, in some cases worse off, and wish we had left well enough alone.

You current camping spot looks fantastic. I wish we could be there. Re the grey fox you spotted yesterday.

We don't have any greys in Australia, however when I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2002, early one morning I was on the edge of Salisbury village (CT) was fortunate to find myself some 15 feet away face-to-face with a grey fox. I don't know which one of us was most startled. He looked at me for a short while then meandered away. It was a real treat for me.

Jeesh. We just left Augusta, GA a few days ago on our way to the 1000 Trails Park in Yemassee, SC. We were there for a couple of days and then headed on down here to St. Augustine, Fl, where we are now. What a neat city. If you're headed down to Florida for the winter, be sure to include a stop here. Next time we come to Florida we're going to make it a month visit here in St. Augustine instead of just a couple of days. Anyway, seems like we're just missing you guys by a few days. We spent a week in Tennessee. Guess we'll have to wait for the Rally to hook up. Unless we run into you down in Florida this winter.

See ya...(we hope)
