Around 6:00 a.m. workers came in and got started on the many rental RVs in the service bays. I'm not sure what they are doing to them, but that seems to be the major activity going on here at Mor/Ryde.
By 6:30, we were out of our rig and back in the customer lounge. We returned more emails and I worked on getting our Campground Reviews updated.
After today's lunch provided by Mor/Ryde, Jay & Stella returned. Ben had squeezed them in to install an IS suspension tomorrow and Friday, but they had not gotten their rig back yet at Heartland. So, they came by to discuss options.
Soon after that, another couple stopped in. "You can't hide!" were the first words from Paul. And the first words from Mary were "I've been hearing 'Howard said ...' for over a year now!" :)
Paul & Mary are one of the four couples that emailed us about getting together while we're in the area.
They still have a house in Nevada while they're checking out this RVing lifestyle. They decided to retire in January and scrambled to get ready for the road in their Grand Junction fifth wheel.
We had some great conversations during their visit. Then we were interrupted by Ben. He came to tell us that we would be here another night.
Apparently, the shear rubber springs they put on weren't quite right. In their efforts to make sure the system works like it is supposed to for each rig, they were going to have to put on different springs. No big deal, we had blocked out a third day.
After Paul & Mary left with the traditional hugs and handshakes, we worked in the lounge a little longer before going out to the bay for the evening. It looked like the rig was jacked up a little higher tonight. That step up was a doozy. :)
Well, the disc brakes are installed and that suspension looks beefy. :)
Hopefully, they'll get finished up in the morning and we can get everything tested.
I went ahead and activated our Verizon "tethering" for the night so we would have internet in the rig.
And that was about it for today. We'll see what happens tomorrow. :)
Howard if you are getting hydraulic brakes then you might want to check which brake controller you have currently. While some may tell you theirs works the P3 is the only one that actually is set up to work with electric or hydraulic. I have a P3 and it is great and my rig weighs more than yours does. Hope this helps.

If torsion axles and hydraulic disk brakes can be gorgeous, those are gorgeous. And yes you may need a new brake controller, but I'm sure they already told you that.
