Howard, have you tried flipping the foam topper over. The one we have in our S&B seems more comfortable if we flip it every 2 or 3 weeks.

Well now for some reason, I'm hungry!

Howard, How is the Lexmark on ink usage? Our HP C6150 seems to drink the stuff! Even though we set it for printing 'black only' it still uses from the 5 color cartridges. We have been checking out other brands of printers.

Dale & Marj,
It's been our experience in the past that Lexmark printers drink more ink than the HPs. That's why we hadn't gone with one before. However, this one seems to be okay as long as we print everything in "Quick Print" mode. I still think the "Quick Print" mode takes more ink than the HP "Draft" mode, but I haven't cursed this printer or threatened to throw it out the window. I'll buy a little more ink for the perfomance. :)

Thanks for the update on the mattress topper, we had been considering doing that and kinda wondered whether it would just make the indents more cushy! Now we know!

Does your all-in-one do scans to the computer wirelessly? Mine prints wirelessly (bluetooth) and copies without the PC but requires the wired connection to scan items to the computer. Fortunately, I don't do much scanning so the cable between the dinette and the kitchen counter isn't present very often.

By the way, I've done a couple of electronic updates recently. The external "trucker" antenna - one a 10' pole - and amplifier raised our cell phone signal from 2 bars to a constant 4. The little Hawking parabolic WIFI antenna increased my signal strength from 1-2 bars (basically unusable) to 4-5 bars for pretty good "G" speed. I can't weight to try it in "N" mode.
