We don't often have clouds, so we rarely see colorful sunrises here at the campground. But today we got one. :)
Of course, I have no idea what I was doing up at that time. :)
While Linda was still sleeping, I balanced the checking account and entered our September expenses into our 2009 expenses spreadsheet.
Eventually, after Linda got up, we got into gear.
Linda worked inside while I got up on the roof and scrubbed every inch of it. I did the vents, the air conditioner cover, the solar panels, the satellite dish, the gutters, the slide toppers, and the rubber roof.
It took a few hours, but the roof has never been in better shape.
After Linda prepared us a late lunch/early dinner, we moved on to washing the rest of the fifth wheel. I did all the scrubbing while Linda was the designated "rinser". Another four hours later and we finally finished that.
The Cambridge hasn't been this clean and white since early 2006. It feels good. :)
We were ready to call it quits for the day, but we mustered up just enough energy to re-arrange and re-pack the storage compartments, the Jeep, and the truck. When Tuesday morning rolls around, it will be just like any other travel day and we'll just have our regular checklist to complete.
Whew. I knew it was going to be a long day. We'll sleep good tonight. :)
See how the washboard training came in handy? See you soon!

You know that you just guaranteed that it will rain.
Be safe and enjoy the ride.

You have to have hitch itch something fierce! Been a long stint but sounds as if it were worth it. Travel safe. Jason

It's good to see you going on the road again. I hope you were able to save a ton of money for the next experiences on the road. See you soon.
