Concerning the off-roading with Linda. You might try get in, sit down, shut up, and hold on.

Gee Howard, if you have to drive any farther you might have to get an oil change once you return too !!! LOL :)

Really have followed you for years and love the daily blogs. Thanks so much.

Do they make aftermarket stronger springs, that would carry the load? Might not need the lift kit with stronger springs, and that would give you your travel distance back. Then you wouldn't bottom out so quick.

Just an idea,
Rod

Howard, I just received my HP Pavilion laptop back from the HP repair center with the exact same problem you are having, only the tint color on mine was pink. I also took mine to the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy, and had the same experience. Anyway, mine was still under warranty and HP sent me the packaging, labels and form necessary to ship it two day FedEx and they did the repair totally free. It was returned in one week from the date I sent it to them. They replaced the system board and a cable. It works great again with no pink tint when I raise the laptop lid above half way. Good luck.
