That kind of boredom, opps I mean excessive freedom sounds mighty nice to those of us still stranded. You guys have to be just about going crazy with so little time left here at this job! Seems like just last week you started there.

One of the great bargains at WINCO is the bulk foods, and the bulk spices. We try to stock up there whenever possible. Hard to believe, but they are cheaper than Wal-Mart. We found the veggies and fruits need to be eaten right away.

BTW, WINCO stands for Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California and Oregon...

Sorry, no Kentucky. :-) You'll have to stay out west!

Kinda funny when you Google your new printer and your website is the top 'hit.' Can't beat that!

You will love the wireless printer. We also became tired of passing the 10' USB printer cable back and forth.

My advice, sit farthest away from the printer, or you will have the same duty I have - delivering her printed sheets as they exit the printer. LOL

Ahhh, I feel so validated about that road from Chico! What a bugger to haul a trailer on! When we came to Almanor last month the first climb out of Chico was the ONLY place I had trouble with the car overheating, and when we got that under control I got to enjoy the twisty, curvy roads. Needless to say, when we left we took the route through Red Bluff instead. Much nicer drive!

Glad you and Linda had a nice "field trip"!

I think we need to get carrier pigeon to deliver our documents to us.

Hey, guys, there are some fun things to do and see in Chico! You missed, for example, the world YoYo Museum, featuring the largest working YoYo ever built (they used a very tall crane to play this YoYo!), as well as some historic YoYo wonders. Better get down there again soon. Chico has a great city park, too! The Honey Run covered bridge is a treat. And the big brewery on the edge of town has a fine restaurant. And even the municipal art has a sense of humor.
