Now that you've been there a while, do you feel that you're properly compensated for the jobs you're doing? You guys always give 120% on any job. You have many varied duties at this place. Just wondering how you like it.

I may have missed it somewhere but are you getting paid for all these hours. It can't be voluntering.

Your comments bring me back to the days when I was a seasonal ranger making my evening rounds before our campfire program. I learned by experience that my demeanor and approach to a situation or some campers would make all the difference in the world as to how a potential issue turned out. It looks like you have the knack for handling people problems before they get ugly.

I agree with you on the bathroom duty. We do not have to cleam the restrooms, just sort of pick up a little through each day we work...(two days out of six at one of the most popular National Historic site available...)

Ken and I worked last Saturday and Sunday...it was 2 bumper days for very rude messy people...

I work the bookstore and about ten feet away, Ken works the information desk.

However, the children for the most part and polite parents make up for the rude ones most of the time...so when I say we understand, we REALLY do!

We are enjoying our site very much and know you are enjoying your deck as much.

Blessings for continued good work, Honey Wagon, messy people and all!

Fran (and Ken)

Try posting this sign in the restrooms. Don't remember where I saw it, long ago.

Let no one say,

And, say it to your shame,

That there was beauty here,

Until you came.
