Here's an idea for your constant weather question. Make four signs to hang on each side of the golf cart. One sign says, "It is going to be windy today." Another says, "It is going to be sunny today". Another says, "It is going to be cold tonight." And the sign which hangs on the front says, "If you want to know how the weather is going to be today, read all of the signs...." :)

Howard, don't you realize you are supposed to cause the wind to stop? I had one lady in Oregon near Hood River that complained about the wind. I pointed out that 15 miles up the river at Hood River the area is the mecca of Wind Surfers. She said we should do something to make it more comfortable for the campers at the state park. She could not put out her awning because of the wind.
Then she had the temerity to ask if it were always this windy. My smart alec response of "No, sometimes the wind really blows" got an angry look.
Seems some people think us camphosts have a magic button to modify the climate to suit them. Sheesh, it is called nature, and you are amongst it when you are at a state or federal campground. If you want cinditioned air, stay home!

We had some similar problems with "drunks" hosting at Hardin Ridge. If the trouble makers stopped being a problem and "slept it off", why did you need to call the cops? Did they actually break some laws?

You guys are doing a great job! We really get a kick out of your blogging about hosting.

Jim & Pat

Good job. A good author always leaves his reader in suspense, waiting for the next installment.

I hate it when you leave us hanging. Now I have to wait a whole day to find out what happened. Oh well.

Boy, sometimes you can't be nice, can you? I'm betting those three "stuck" campers were your problem.

Just a hunch :)

Howard, one of the main reasons I chose this lifestyle was to escape from aggravation. You kind of jump right into it. I dunno....you know where I can get a slim jim.

Your blog is awesome. It's like some of the soaps, I just have to keep coming back, daily!
