Our tour-of-duty as co-hosts with Howard and Linda at Arches Devil's Garden Campground has been a real pleasure and a high point in our life journey.

We wish Howard and Linda the very best in their travels, and we look forward to catching up with them on-the-road, again, in the future.

Did they know that they would only be there till april or was it a suprise

What a great day! I really like your picture of "Chippy"

Ron,

We knew when we took the volunteer job there was a possibility that the ANP would be hiring a ranger (paid employee), to handle the HOT months.

We have been asked to come back next year, and possibly this fall, so guess they were satisfied.

We really enjoyed our gig here, and will miss H & L.

As always, great photos and a fine story. Thanks for carrying us along and showing us the sights!

Landscape arch certainly looks fragile, and even in our hiking days we would not want to have (1) walked across the top, or (2) stood underneath the arch for very long!

Safe travels Robbie and Alice. It was great to 'extend' our visit with you folks and H&L at Arches NP. Sure hope our paths cross again next season. The solar panels are in place so we are ready :)

Howard and Linda,
What a trip!! We will hold this one dear in our hearts forever! You two made our vacation even richer because of your enthusiasm, your knowledge of the area and your wonderful hospitality! We will be back to visit again, but this time we will not wait two years! Thanks for welcoming us into your world and letting us experience the wonderful lifestyle you two have chosen, even if only for a week. Oh Howard, by the way, it was fun beating you and Jay in Euchre!!:)
Hope you both feel better real soon.
Love, Jay and Karen

Someone I met just told me about the secret rock art panel. Can you give me directions?
