......and we'd rather see your wonderful pictures of sunsets over a naked bookseller ANYTIME !

Thank you for your discretion, Howard :)

I'll be interested to see how your solar works with your inclement weather.

I saw "Cecilia's Rainbow Garden" mentioned in some reading about Quartzsite...I'd love to see some pics!

Well your sunsets are beautiful but I must check out the naked bookseller.

Howard, thanks for NOT sharing pics of the naked bookseller!
I'm wondering about the weather out there in Q, specifically wind & dust. Is it a windy/dusty place?

Howard, I'm very interested in the Quartzsite RV community as we don't have anything like it her in Australia. A few questions if I may... 1) How long do people generally stay there 2)Do most take their RVs into town to top up their water tanks or do they have bladders like that chap had the other day 3) Are there any problems with noise, drunks, or people who come in just to stir things up.
In all I find it very interesting.

I am also interested in additional information about the Quartzsite RV community. What land are you camping on that does not have a fee? Do you need to be invited to a group, or are there other areas for those just visiting?

Thanks for the pictures of the Quartzsite area. We have often thought about wintering there but were a little apprehensive about boondocking for so long. We don't have the solar capabilities that you have added but we do have the genset to recharge the batteries. I am wondering about how you might fill your water tank once it gets depleted? I wonder if there are water trucks that come around like the honey wagons you referred to?

I am with you Howard, I have no desire to see an old man naked. I'll take a sunset any day!!
Hugs,
Ginger

Alan,
Many RVers here have water bladders or other systems they've rigged up to haul water and pump it or gravity fill it into their rigs.

Most groups have at least one person in their group that has a water bladder. See http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/portable-rv-fresh-water-tank-45-gallon/1605 for a sample.

There are, however, water delivery trucks that will come to your site and fill your fresh water tank. I'm not sure what the fee is. :)
