Howard,

The RV Copilot website and program looks good. I come from a sales background and with the price points for the ads, it looks like an easy to sell program. The key will be how fast the site grows and what type of coverage they get in the media to help the growth.
Like you said it looks like a good ground floor opportunity. Wonder if they need a good travelling lawyer like you to make sure all goes well from a legal view.

I went to the RVCopilot.com website and my first impression was I did NOT find it really user friendly. I have seen worst websites though.
Example: from the home page the first and most obvious search function only allowed you to search an entire state. No city search option. Using this search function it returned some 860 RV Parks for the state of Texas, but they were not listed alphabetically by name or city. This made the search useless. Looking further in the website I did find a way to search by city. I then did a search for RV Parks in San Antonio, Texas and the search did not return two popular RV Parks in San Antonio. I would prefer using a website which listed all RV Parks, not just some. For example, my experience shows Trailer Life Directory website lists just about all RV Parks in an area.

Additionally I was not impressed with the overall layout of the website so I probably would not return for more searchs.

Howard,
I think we may be interested in both. I want to find out more about RV Copilot and will offer some thoughts when I have a chance.

On the LOW - Pam and I attended our first/last conference in Harrisburg PA and thought it was a good experience. It added a lot to our knowledge base. We attended a number of classes including some of Nicks and have some thoughts on the content/conduct of the event.

We had opportunities to hear and see what FT may be like though we are potentially 6-7 months away from that time.

We have been involved with setting up and conducting conferences and love doing it. It is a lot of effort but the key is planning, people, organization and hard work.
I would highly encourage you to think about it and would welcome the opportunity to discuss it further with you.

Howard - When I heard that LOW was history, I immediately thought of you and Linda as organizers of a follow up training event. Based on the emails that I answer generated by our own RV podcast, I know that there is a need for this type of educational experience. Although we have been RVing for 30 years and started small and bought more upscales as our time and interests expanded, it is amazing how many couples just take the plunge into RVing with little info and lots of faith in their dream.
These folks are hungry for information and the experiences of fellow RVers. Baby boomers will be entering this market in big numbers in the next few years so I see lots of potential. However, I am not sure how financially viable a new LOW would be. New means of delivery and rethinking of the content need to be considered as a foundation for making any future plans.
I do think you are the perfect couple to make this happen. We would be glad to support you in any way in this endeavor.
