Howard and Linda,

After meeting you on Highway 3 in Oklahoma on Sunday, with you going West and us going East, you are now REALLY making me jealous with this thread. As a kid, we used to camp IN Cimarron Canyon. Some time later, one could only camp in campgrounds at either end of the canyon. Taos and Eagle's Nest are also familiar.

So, you are in much prettier country than the Oklahoma Panhandle. Good for you for thinking of Pagosa Springs. South central Colorado has a lot to see. The Durango/Silverton railroad is quite a treat as is Mesa Verde to the west of Durango.

You don't know how much I wish I had turned around when we passed you on Sunday. However, at the cost of my jealousy, enjoy the area where you are and are going.

God bless and drive careful.

Howard, your pictures are always so great. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Again, those New Mexico sunsets are hard to pass up so enjoy them on your way to Colorado.

OK Howard I do see a need for you to take Doctor Speedy's "Take a Breath and Relax" class. I usually give this class at a local bar but it can be given anywhere at a good success rate. I want you two to be careful and enjoy life to its fullest.

Joe and Sherri

I can really relate to this post, Howard. Especially, Linda's perspective. I would have been sitting next to my Bill white knuckled and screaming! He is always complaining about my "over reactions" to his driving skills:) As to the 3rd rule, Bill has only violated that once. We were so low on gas we actually had to leave the fifth wheel behind and go looking with just the truck. We finally found some--just in the knick of time.
