The White Rim trail requires a permit. It is a rough beautiful dirt road well worth the bumps and bruises. This will be a good test for your new skid plate.

Plan on spending the night and at least 2 days to complete the 100 mile trail.

You took this road?
I was driving an AWD Subaru station wagon and that road wasn't for me.

Yep, that's the one. :)

Your photos are great, PLEASE keep taking them and thank you for sharing them.

Unfortunately our First Horizons 5th wheel won't be ready for us to pick up until early May, so we won't make it to your neck of the woods until then, but we are excited to pass through that beautiful part of this beautiful country again. I never get tired of those red rocks.

How lucky are all of us RVers to be able to see an amazing land and such breath taking sights while traveling the way we like?

Howard, as usual the pictures were OUTSTANDING. I truly enjoy reading your journals and seeing all the pictures. I'm happy that you and Linda are in such a wonderful place. Please keep the GREAT pictures coming. Bob W.

Gorgeous pictures! You should do a coffee table book.

Awesome Pics Howard! Linda, you're very brave! I couldn't have driven on that road, and Howard I would have been hangin on for dear life! Wonderful scenery, and I'll just have to look at your pics, as I'm afraid of heights!

Following us? (Ara & Spirit).
Will come up to see you soon... We must have some of the same readers as they keep giving me your link! We had mechanical problems... had to go to SLC and tue we are going to Durango for a new starter... Maybe dinner?
Be well... Ara & Spirit

Oh, the memories. We saw most of that area from the river several years ago. We took a three day river raft trip from Moab to Lake Powell. The "horse shoe" bend area was where we stopped for lunch one day and climbed over the top from one side of the river to the other while the rafts floated on around the bend. Also the confluence of the Green and Colorado was interesting. The Green River really is green!! You can watch as it flows into the Colorado and the waters blend as it goes down stream. Great memories of a great trip! Thanks for the views from the top:-)
