Your are fortunate, Howard, that Jack is such a meticulous craftsman. His work is exemplary.

Do you have to periodically clean the exposed face of the solar collectors to remove any build up that would reduce their effectiveness?

Aligned like teeth and the wires routed with a French Curve! How much does Jack cost?

Kidding aside, I know your off grid ability is very much improved. Looks great!

I wish we could have stuck around to see how it all worked. Be sure to let us know how a full day of charging works. I'm still on the fence about adding solar, but it sure would have been nice not to have to have run the generator while we were there in Arches.

You're gonna love it! I know I do...my biggest issue is finding those great boondocking spots. Hope my new Benchmark maps that are coming will help.

Fox,

Yes we are very fortunate to have Jack as a friend. He is amazing! :)

As for cleaning the panels, I've seen recommendations from just letting the rainwater do it to periodic cleaning with soap and water or a light cleaner with soft towels or sponges.

I'd like to think we'll do a once a month wipe down, but we'll see. :)
