Oh my gosh. That looks exciting and scary too. Sounds like it was one of those, "well, we've done that," but not again things? Look forward to hearing about your day today. See you guys soon.

Boy, Linda, you are braver than I am. I would have been out after that first rock. I must not understand the laws of physics because those Jeeps look like they should have tipped over. Obviously those guys know what they are doing.

Great photos, thanks for sharing so us chickens who would never do that can "enjoy" it through you:)

The pictures are great but why in the world would you subject your equiptment to those kind of conditions? It would even be rough for a tractor. Being a mechanic for many years I know it must be hard on the mechanical parts of the Jeep. Is that the only way to see the sites?

H, great pics of Moab Rim! Mike & I took our quad out on Tuesday & did some trails. Like Linda, there were spots where I had to get off the quad & walk - it was too darn steep! But the views around Moab are so spectacular and worth some effort to see them!

Oh-my-gosh, Linda makes the best peach cobbler I have ever tasted!

Thank you, Howard and Linda for your gracious hospitality.

Boys with expensive toys. Sorry I would not subject my poor ole body to doing that.

Great photos. My curiousity is piqued! I don't have to do that now--it was close enough to the edge in the pictures...

This is another one of those things that I'm glad I didn't know about until it was over and you two were finished with it. The pictures are unbelievable. Keep them coming.

That peach cobbler recipe seems tailormade for a Dutch Oven. I'll try it and report back.

Oh thank goodness Linda hopped out for part of that ride....I just worry about her back from the boating incident last year. Sorry...but she is around my daughters age, and we all tend to adopt her and Howard..hee hee
I will say it was so exciting via my PC however, and not nearly as scary as when I went with our son in law up in Maine 4 wheeling in the same type Jeep. I was younger and less prone to pain then....soooo this fun trip sitting here looking at it on line was the best! Thanks, and I might add ....the slide show was the ultimate. You kids rock! Good for you both living your dreams. God Bless.

Howard, this was the best day ever!!!Thank you for sharing that fantastic ride. I am totally Jealous.

Oh...and the Peach Cobbler is the ULTIMATE. Each time I bake it...everyone loves it. Thanks for all those yummy recipes Linda.

Howard,

I see you came across a few of our club members on the rim trail.

They are members of the FMCA 4wheelers, a truly wonderful group of people. We have been members since 1996 and really enjoy the rallies they have all over the U.S. and sometimes Canada.

The Moab Rim trail is nice but there are some other really spectacular trails which are not necessarily as difficult looking as this one. A stock off the showroom floor Jeep Rubicon can do these trails with no problem or damage.

Most of our members are well over 60 years old and several are disabled so their hiking is limited and they still love to tour the back country so a 4 wheeler is the way to accomplish this. We have over 300 members and truly have a wonderful time.

We have been visiting the Moab area since 1967 and really like Onion Creek, also.
