I thought I was getting better. But instead I woke up feeling worse.
I slept until about 9:00, but didn't get out of bed until 11:00. That's not like me at all.
It was a beautiful Fall day and Linda made a couple of phone calls to see if anyone wanted to go to one of the local festivals. She got a late start on making those calls, and it was too late to go by the time she found some takers.
So instead of going anywhere, folks came to us. That was good by me. :)
My cousin and her two daughters came out. Linda has been instrumental in getting them into the beading that she does.
While we are here in town, they all went in on an order of beads to get quantity price discounts. So they brought over Linda's part of the order.
They had a nice visit and went to see the horses.
Later, my Dad called. They were bored and wanted to come out and bring dinner and play cards. I still wasn't really up for cards, but a little Olive Garden sounded good. :)
As long as I didn't have to go anywhere or think, I was fine. We had a nice dinner and Linda played "hand and foot" with my parents. I stayed focused on the Kentucky - LSU football game.
Wow! What a game! It was easily one of the best games of the year and one of the biggest wins in Kentucky history.
After my folks left, I continued to watch football and the baseball playoffs into the night - between naps. :)
Linda did some beading and some computer stuff until we finally went to bed. Whew! It was a good day of sports and visitors, but I sure hope I feel better tomorrow.
Until then. :)
Howard, we are all creatures of habit. Each day you write about your RV-Dream of the day before, and all of us log in each day to get our RV-Dream "fix".
I am sure your unexpected, and almost unprecedented, absence caused worry among your loyal readers as to what situation could preclude your feeding us our "daily fix".
Thank goodness it was no more serious than the Monday morning blahs and recovering from a cold. Get completely well!
Wish I had a gallon of iesel for each time someone logged on to check!
