Howard, Thanks for the Mini Sermon, I look forward to them, they apply to more life living than "full timing".

Howard you hit the nail on the head again while visiting friends here and relatives in Pa. Saw some we havent seen in yrs. However, we are homesick for the "enchantment of New Mexico" and are ready to be where weather is nicer.

Wow, you hit this right on the head. We feel the same way when we go back to Milwaukee. We're not there too many days and we feel stressed and long to be back on the road - and always feel a little guilty about it. The last time we actually left a few days earlier than planned.

We just returned to our normail live after 9 days on the road. We drove from Nebraska to Montana in 2 days and back in 3. After paying for a rental car, 3 nights in hotels, meals out, and gas for the car, and seeing many MH and 5ers, we have had our wake up call. We will have our MH next year and be able to travel without hotel and car rental and meal expenses.

We have family in MT and TX so visiting on their schedules is tough sometimes.

However, this time in MT, we went to see The Gates of the Mountains near Helena- Beautiful! Drove through Lewis and Clark Nat'l Forest - A few campgrounds for dry camping/boondocking. The smell was incredibly wonderful! We also drove through Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons this time! Breath-taking and worth the time and driving! We had a female elk right in our camp! A bison next to the car, it was fabulous! We saw Old Faithful, pretty neat too! It wasn't really very croweded for Labor Day weekend. Lots of dry camping for about $12-18 a night, but right next to the animals.

I have been away fron your blog for a week and truly missed it.
Glad you made it back home.
Thanks for your posting, it is so true. Our daughters are pretty good about schedules when we visit, our sons aren't. Differing worlds and outlooks.
Next Time - Glacier Park and The Southern Coast. Two very different spots!
