Howard,

You're setting yourself up with this journal, you know that, don't you? I can just read the entries now: "How dare that childless couple criticizes how we mothers try to bring up our children...if it weren't for us gals, all of the children would be gone to ruin by now, drinking beer and making a mess of their lives."

Oh well, it's a bit too late for that now!

Have a nice trip home as you miss all of the thunderstorm and flood activity that has followed you since you left Texas.

Howard and Linda,

You two are priceless...I love your observations...

Ken and I do the same thing...one Fourth of July, (before we began going RVing for 6 months at a time...) we went to one of the boat launches for the neighborhood where we live. We went purposely with the intent of watching people launching/loading thier boats, sea-doos, water-crafts, etc. (We live on a lake north of San Antonio when we are not in our rig going to/from somewhere...) :)

Anyway, it was a zoo...we laughed and laughed.

Occasionally we could predict the outcome of a person trying to launch/load thier craft.

Only one guy passed us saying, "Here for the entertainment, I see!"

We were honest and said, "Yep!"

We are currently in Oregon workcamping at a state park...and we find we are doing the same thing while here..."People Watching"...

Ain't it FUN?

We truly enjoy reading your journal...keep up the good work...

Blessings,
Fran (and Ken)

I will have to have my wife read this! You hit it right on the nail head! Men never get it right....Why is that?
