Wow! Great pics and we'll have to experience it too. I can only vaguely remember much about Mammoth Cave tour over 10 years ago.

Have you considered Kelderman or LinkAir suspension upgrades? Could be another product to review, albeit they're expensive. Customer Testimonials are all positive of course!

I know you would tell it like it is!

Thanks again!

Howard and Linda I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading your journals. When they arrive, that makes my day. I too have been to Mammoth and Carlsbad Caves and I really liked Carlsbad better. I looked at all the pictures you took and they were wonderful. Please keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming. Have a safe and enjoyable trip. Happy Trails, Bob Wiggs

After my wife see todays post I see a trip to New Mexico in my future. She love caves and I always say "you seen on cave you have seen them all". After seeing todays pics I think I'm wrong.
Enjoyed the pictures and look forward to going there myself.

We went to the Caverns in April. Took most of the same photos you did. Funny thing is...YOURS look so much better! :) Seriously though, we had a wonderful time there too.

Your comments reminded me of what a special place the caverns are. I probably went on at least 10 tours in the 50's and 60's. In the begining there were no tour options and there was no elevator. The tour was down the steep entrance and rangers were positioned along the way.
If you couldn't walk 3 and 1/2 miles, then you were out of luck. In the early 60's, there were lots of changes including the "new buildings" on top as the miners say ;)with elevators and shorter tours.
As my father was an underground potash miner, he went with an authorized group on an exploration in the early 40's and saw areas of the caverns that very few people have ever seen.

Most amazing photos. Makes me want to visit there. Thanks for sharing.
