Who knows, well I do know this if you don't try it you will never know. We would take nothing for what we have experienced since going full time. We have seen and one things most people just dream about. And spending time with the person you love can't get any better. Living in a 400 sq feet brings you closer together, I LOVE my Delaine. Life is good...GBY...

Your journal entry in reading it today hit my heart, yes "who knows" where our lives will take us but at least we are doing what we like to do at the moment....thank you for what you wrote today.

Answers to final questions.
Yes. Yes. Maybe. Yes. But taint it fun!!! :) :) :)

Good points all Howard. Whenever I have doubts about our decision to sell the house and go full time, I remember a little saying I have tried to live by:

I would rather be sorry for for the things I did than to be sorry for the things I didn't do.

I for one, really respect, and admire your courage in just taking the "leap". I think it's the type of thing (lifestyle) a great many people think and dream about but never really get around to doing....not having the courage to make the leap.
I have just under three years to go to retirement (luckily a fairly young retirement at 55 years old, and my wife Deb at 51) from a fairly stressful job...I've often wondered what it would have been like to do exactly what you and linda are doing. I would think that there would be a great deal "peace" just knowing you got out of the damn rat race...Although the future is uncertain, I bet you wouldn't trade it for the world.
I know that I can't wait for retirement to be able to have that kind of freedom and peace of mind.
God bless both of you....hopefully we will meet "on the road" one of these days.

Howard, well said. That Who knows, is exactly why at age sixty I've made the decision to not wait until retirement age to go full-time. It's not because I can afford to do it BUT because I can't afford not to do it. Jim Montgomery

Howard, I'm pretty sure Nikon issued a recall or a technical bulletin or something on that model of camera. Check their website, but if your camera is one of the defective ones, you have to send it to Nikon for a free repair.
