Your bird pictures are beautiful. :) Do you know the names of all these birds, or do you match your pictures to the pictures in a bird book? I've been reading about your birds in my bird book to learn a little more about them. Also really enjoyed the aloe flower. Hadn't seen that before.
One of our first stops when we start fulltiming is to visit Santa Ana Refuge.

I enjoyed your journal more today than usual, since I spent all day in a "bird identifying head". In fact, thanks for the picture of the Red Shouldered Hawk. I put up a picture on my blog today where I asked if it was one of those. Now that I've seen your picture, I know it was not. Still wondering what it was. Oh well, I'm learning. Thanks for your great pictures.

Beautiful photos as always!
