While I admire your discipline, I can't help thinking that being more than $1,000 under budget for the month, at least a small trip to the grocery store would have been warranted. Especially since there was a lot left in the entertainment category. A good meal,whether eaten in or out always qualifies as entertainment in my book.

Shhh. Don't tell anybody, but I have plans for some of that extra January cash around, say, Valentine's Day. :)

we are considering doing a rv/carpet cleaning business on the road. I was wondering (amongst other issues!)how the tax codes work for using part or all of your RV for an office and counting it as an expense-how much of that can you deduct?
